I'm not sure how an SDK can prevent you from use the Flex color picker.
Well it's the blackberry tablet os and i can't use the colorpicker, when i try it says:
The prefix "mx" for element "mx:ColorPicker" is not bound
I dont really get how your colorpicker works, sorry i'm fairly new to flex/as3
Also i need it for a commerical product so i wouldn't want to just copy your code
You are welcome to copy the code. The main question is: Does it work for
Nope, i'm getting this:
Adobe AIR application is missing the corresponding SparkDateChooserTest-app.xml
And i'd really love to know how this works
All of my demos and source should be for Web apps, not AIR. If you want to
use it in an AIR app, you will need to create an AIR project and copy the
components you need into the project.
Ok i'll give it a go
Is there a simpler way for me to make my own colorpicker?
I think mine is based on TileList. If you want to roll your own, I would
start there, not with DataGrid.
Yeah i'd much rather make my own
So how does tilelist work?
Ok i've worked out the tilelist and that seems the best option
Now i need to find a component that allows me to set a background color, click on it, a mouse_over function, and i need to be able to call the background color value
I've tried using a button - no mouseover function, can't call the background color value
I've tries using a s:rect - can't click on it, no mouseover function
You might want to use the rollOver on Button. A custom skin should be able
to set the backgroundColor. But you should be using ItemRenderer to create
a new renderer for the TileList.
