I have an Asus Eeepc netbook running XP3. It has flash drives rather than conventional hard drives, and the C drive is small. I install programs other than the original factory provided stuff, wherever possible, on drive D, which has enough space. When I try to download the reader, which I need to update, it offers no option to choose the drive, so hangs, as there is no space. I have tried to clear unwanted programs, including the older version of the reader, but have not managed to clear enough. Uninstalling the older version has hit a glitch, as well. I want to be able to direct the new version to drive D. How do I do this?
Can you try and download the required 10.0.1 installer from:
When the dialog appears asking you to save the file, you can chose to save the same in the drive of your choice i.e. D:
Hope this helps
