Can I edit a .html file using RoboHelp 7?

With RoboHelp 2002 I could easily edit a single .html file and I was comfortable with it.

I'm sure I could do the same trick with RoboHelp 7 on my XP but now that I'm using Windows 7 it appears impossible.

The open dialog limits files to 'project' files.

I have Adobe Dreamweaver CS4, which would work but the output is always formatted slightly different and DreamWeaver just seems too awkward to me.

Does anyone know if it can be done and how I'm missing it?

Sorry but that feature was removed. It is projects only now.

Hi there

As my colleague noted, RoboHelp now only supports opening projects.

But if you read between the lines a bit, what you can do is to have a tiny scratch project that you open, then simply import the HTML page you want to make edits to. Make your edits, save them, then copy the HTML page wherever you like.

Cheers... Rick

Brilliant. Thanks for the tip. I might have come around to that

technique eventually, after mustering up some motivation, but I

realized I should be able to tame this Dreamweaver thing a bit too.
