I know that the project manager can take all the files from a project and create a whole new copy in a new location, copying all the media files etc....
But, is there a way to tell it to consolidate all the media in this project in to this projects folder without making an entirely new copy?
As an example, if I had brought in some clips from the project folder and then another few from somewhere else without thinking, is there some way to tell it just to copy the 'somewhere else' files in to the project folder without it having to completely replicate the project in to a 'new' folder?
I'd do it manually.
And next time, do it before import.
Yes, I normally copy the files first too. But when putting things together in a rush for a client occasionally some files get missed, especially if we are previewing from cards or external HDDs. It would be nice (and a time saver) to have the safety feature of consolidating external files.
Maybe I'll add a feature request
