I don't know of a way. Flash Catalyst runs at 24 fps, so any imported SWFs will run at the same playback rate. Could you recreate the slideshow as a custom component with Flash Catalyst? It might be easier that adjusting the slideshow in Flash Professional.
You also might need to delete the old imported SWF and re-import the adjusted SWF, just to be sure it is using the correct version.
Thank you very much for taking time to answer my question!
I recreated the slideshow in Flash Catalyst as a custom component. In order to get the slideshow loop, I have to rely on a button and to click on it. Is there any way to get it loop automatically without using buttons?

Take a look at this forum post to see one solution:
It takes a little effort in Flash Builder. but it should work. I am assuming your custom component goes from state 1 to state 2, and all the effects occur in the timeline?
The other option is to go back to Flash Profession and have it do the looping.
I got it worked!! The problem was quite simple: the frame rate wasn't set as 24fps. I re-adjusted the frame rate to the default rate and it plays in correct speed.
Many thanks for your help!!
