    Standard menu bar in PS

    ac361 Community Member

Is there a way to add the standard menu bar in Photoshop CS5? I'd love to be able to have the standard Save and Save All buttons at least available as icon buttons so we can easily save our work. Has anyone written a plugin to add these to Photoshop? Thanks.

It could probably be done relatively easy as a Flash panel, but I'm not aware of something existing already. Also seems to trivial to me to even bother, when most advanced users will use shortcuts al lthe time anyways...

Photoshop has a standard menu bar - that's the menus at the top of the application.

I think you're asking for a "Button Bar", as seen in many consumer applications (duplicating functionality already found in menus and keyboard commands).

Button bars are not standard in any way.  No, Photoshop does not have one of those.

You can use actions in button mode, or you can use Configurator or Flash panels to add buttons to your workspace.
