Adobe Reader downloads only part of a PDF document and then aborts

      Hello,

From Windows7-clients I am trying to download PDF files from an IIS Server using HTTP://iis/test.pdf  and displaying them in Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.

      Some more details:

      x86 environment:

      Server_IIS_1:  Windows 2008 current updates

      Server_IIS_2:  Windows 2008 current updates

Client_1:  Windows 7 current updates, Adobe ReaderX is NOT installed.

Client_2:  Windows 7 current updates, Adobe ReaderX is installed.

      a. Using Client_1 I can download the PDFs from Server_IIS_1 and from Server_IIS_2 successfully.

      b. Using Client_2 with Adobe Reader installed I can download  the PDF from Server_IIS_1 and the and PDF will be displayed correctly inside IE.

      c. Using Client_2 with Adobe Reader installed:

it seems a part of the PDF from Server_IIS_2 will be downloaded only.

I see a  few pages of the PDF inside IE only.

If I scroll to the end AcroRd32.exe is crashing:

      Application Error

      Event ID=1000

Faulting application name: AcroRd32.exe, version: 10.0.0.396, time stamp: 0x4cc5e97b Faulting module name: AcroRd32.dll, version: 10.0.0.407, time stamp: 0x4cdafb9a Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x003c262f Faulting process id: 0x130c Faulting application start time: 0x01cbb271c7d47267 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.dll Report Id: 09c175b7-1e65-11e0-98df-00123f7b677d

If I start Adobe Reader manually and open the PDF using the url HTTP://iis/test.pdf, it works fine..

Any ideas on this ?  Thanks for your help !!
