    Session timeout in flex + spring + blazeds

    suga.k

      Hi,

      In our application, we need to display the login page once session timeout occurs. In web.xml, I had placed the following code:

      <session-config>
                 <session-timeout>10</session-timeout>
      </session-config>

      So, in this case if there is no user activity for 10 mins - the user is redirected to the login page.

      But, we have a requirement for streaming data from the server. For that, we have used SecureAMFChannel - in services-config.xml file as follows:

      <channel-definition id="my-secure-amf"
          class="mx.messaging.channels.SecureAMFChannel">
          <code/>
      </channel-definition>

      When the streaming of data happens - and if there is no user activity - session timeout would not occur since the channel is active. But still in this case - I would want the timeout to occur so that redirection to login page takes place.

      Can someone suggest a general way in which session timeout occurs after 10 minutes for both -

      a. when live data is streamed-in

      b. when streaming does not occur(normal scenario).

      Thanks,

      Suga
