    Issues Running SWF on Apache Server

    AlisonCMurphy

      Hi everyone,

      Seeing a strange thing with some SWF files running on our Apache server. I'm able to get a test SWF working that only checks the Flash version. I have this 2nd, simple, swf file built from this test code below thats in the same place on the server.

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

      <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute" applicationComplete="init()" backgroundColor="0xffffff">

      <mx:Label x="5" y="5" text="test"/>

      </mx:Application>

      This works when run from from my local machine, but does not work on the adobe server. We have also tried it on other servers & it runs there. It seems to be something with our server.

      Some settings:

      -I set flashbuilder to merge libraries into the code

      -Have tried with 644 & 755 permissions of the swf file

      -Apache Version 2.2.3

      -I do have a crossdomain.xml file in the same folder that allows full access   <allow-access-from domain="*"/>  &  <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*"/>

      I think its having trouble calling out for the namespace, since other SWF files can be run--but does anyone know what could be causing this?

      Thanks for your help.
