I would like to know how to deauthorize my computer and then reauthorize under a new ID. My wife recently purchased a Nook and wanted to check out ebooks from the library. I installed ADE to my laptop and authorized it for her ID so we could download ebooks from the library to her Nook. She now uses her desktop for this (I installed ADE there also) and I want to use my laptop to download library books to my ID.
I have tried uninstalling ADE, resetting the computer and then reinstalling it but it keeps coming up that it is authorized with her ID. How do I clean up the install and remove her ID to I can put in my own ID. I do not care about books she downloaded- they are fine on another machine. Thanks.
I found out how to do this. Press cnt + shift +D and I will see a prompt to deauthorize. Sorry for the post.
I tried doing "Press cnt + shift +D" (I assume that is control-shift-D and return), but it doesn't work on my Mac no matter where I try it. Where should I do this? During the install process? After the app is installed and from within the app window? Any help would be appreciated? Thanks.
Sorry for the delay in responding to this. The method I described was for a Windows PC. For the Mac, you might try cmd-shift-D. But I have never tried this.
