I have been having problems with Adobe Premiere Elements 9 on my Windows Vista Computer.
I have been making a project for school using The Sims 3. For this, I made videos of the building of the two houses I had made. These videos are made in a .avi file format. Since I had recently purchased Premiere, I didn't think that there would be any problems with such a widely used format such as this, so I didin't think much of it.
But, when I imported the videos (all 2.6 GB, I may say) they came up as partially pixelated files with random pixels changing colours at random times. Any idea why this may be/if it can be fixed?
Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately, AVI is but a wrapper, and almost anything can be inside that wrapper. This ARTICLE will give you background. That article will also tell you how to "peek inside the wrapper," and then if you tell us what G-Spot says about the files, someone can help you.
