I am using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional inside a Vista Home Premium operating system. I created a form using Adobe LiveCycle Designer when Outlook was default email program. Now Windows Mail is mydefault email program, but LiveCycle Designer still thinks Outlook is my default email program. When I click on the SUBMIT button on a form, an OUTLOOK message pops up with no send option. How can I change the default program in Adobe Live Cycle Designer to make Windows mail the default?
The form would not be filled out in Designer, but in Acrobat or Reader. Specific questions on Designer should be directed to the LiveCycle forum. The default e-mail program is defined in the system, not in Acrobat or the form. This system aspect is what makes mailto submissions become a problem. That is because the e-mail setup does not always work right. That is generally a system issue, not a PDF issue.
