I recently changed my email address since I dropped my (unreliable) ISP.
I changed my email address with Adobe, and, obviously, can sign on.
However, I can't get Adobe Digital Editions to drop my old email address, despite the fact that I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Now, I purchased an ebook for my NOOKcolor from a source other than Barnes & Noble (my first try). It opened nicely in ADE, and then seemed to have fallen into the bit bucket somewhere. It insists my Adobe ID is my old email address, which of course, will not synch with my NOOKcolor.
What do I have to do to "start all over again" with Adobe Digital Editions?
I appreciate getting help. I just paid for a book that I cannot read and cannot return.

Have you tried deauthorizing the computer? Open ADE and hit ctrl-shift-D to deauthorize. Then re-authorize using your new Adobe ID. Hope that helps!
If it doesn't, then I suggest you delete ADE AND EMPTY THE TRASH. Then you
can reinstall ADE with your new Adobe ID.
