Have you installed all CS5 updates? Are you time-remapping or time-stretching your layer/comp?
All updates have been installed and no time remapping has been applied. Oddly enough, if I do add time remapping and stretch it a little, it gets better, but I have noting to sync it with.
Bridge plays the audio correctly, so does windows media player, soundbooth too. I even updated my sound driver, not a sausage.
Yes, all seems to be in order according to the project window.
44,100 kHz @ 24bit in Stereo, 28 sec with some frames.
I am working in default PAL DV (25fps) widescreen square pixel and using the motherboard soundcard.
-audio settings; sample rate @ 48 kHz (I played with this too, did not help either)
-Audio Hardware; After Effects WMD sound (no other available option), Settings all on, buffer size big or small makes no difference
-Audio Output Mapping; After Effects WMD sound (no other available option), Left/Right: Speakers (realtek high definition audio 1/2)
That's weird. Have you tried deleting/resetting your preferences?
TimeRemapper, thanks for your help.
I finally found the problem. I used the keyboard shortcut "ins" and faild to notice that the preview tab has the frame rate @ "auto"... and for some reason it kep at 30fps (slap on the head)
I selected @ 25fps and all is ok
Glad you got it sorted.
Thanks for posting your solution.
