Core 2 Duo w/ NVIDIA 330M vs dual i5 w/ Intel 3000 graphics? (purchasing new MacBook Pro)

I've sold my early 2008 MacBook Pro and plan to replace it with either the new i5 13" released today or last year's model. What I need to know is which will work better: the older model, which has a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo w/ NVIDIA 330M, or the new model just released today, which has a dual core i5 @ 2.2GHz...but with Intel 3000 integrated graphics (yuck?). The unit I just got rid of has a 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo w/ the NVIDIA 8600M GT video card. Assume 8GB RAM and a 5400 rpm HDD for all systems. The kind of work I do is very minimal, spending a few hours a week working with 720p video, sometimes with as many as eight additional PSD layers. I am NOT looking for world class performance...it's just that I don't want to take a performance hit by choosing the i5 / Intel 3000 combo over the older C2D w/ 330M, which is going to be nearly identical to the computer I just sold.
