normally dreamweaver fully controls HTML and CSS editing via its WYSIWYG interface and to a limited extent it controls other front end technologies such as JS via its WYSIWYG interface
it also has a more full coder interface for a far greater variety of languages including server side languages.
however if client side code is contained within a server side command such as a PHP print or ecco function dreamweaver no longer recongnises it
this means all WYSIWYG functions are lost, all coder interface functions are lost and all automated functions (such as automatically updating referances in other files) are lost)
is there any way to solve this problem?
In PHP one of the commands you're referring to is spelt "echo" not "ecco", that may help.
Regarding print, it apparently has a slower response time than echo thats why I think its not seen as much. I have used it however to print a HTML form on the page when the user has done something elsewhere.
