I upgraded from photoshop cs2 to cs4. In cs2 the character palate was included in the floating palettes on the right of the window. Now, in CS4 they are hidden under Window, and I have to click "Show all menus" to find it. Is there any way to include the character palate in the floating palatte by default? Is there a shortcut to open it? This is too much clicking to access a palette I use ALL THE TIME.
Thanks,
Photoshop has one of the most configurable layouts known to man.
Can you not just drag the Character panel by its little tab and put it where you want - e.g., at the bottom of the stack of panels showing in the Essentials default workspace? Watch for the edges to highlight while you're dragging the panel.
