you could use BitmapData.draw() (see http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/display/BitmapDat a.html#draw()) to copy the current video frame to a new bitmapData object in an Event.ENTER_FRAME listener.
i'm sorry I forgot to mention.. I'm not suppose to play the video.. so it is a file itself.. Isn't BitmapData.draw() for playing videos only?
What I actually looking for is doing a byteArray (I'm thinking that is how the FLV is) to bitmap data sequence/array... is there such code for this one? thanks
