I'm working on my first Flash project and I've hit a wall, I can not get the skin on the Flash Player to appear on the website. I have read through all the Forum posts and tried all suggections to no avail. The video is playing alright on the website but no skin. Here's the pertinant information, please help!
Adobe Flash CS4 Professional (10.0.2)
Flash File (Action Script 3)
The flash video is stored on a site that we use for video serving, URL of video is:
The website with the homepage displaying the video can be found here:
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or hints, it's probably something very simple.
DId you import the FLVPlayer component into your movie? If you did, did you select one that is meant to sit over the video or surround the video? Did you set the size of the player component to be large enough to show around the video?
Hi Rob, thanks for your help. To answer your questions:
Yes in the Flash movie file I imported the SkinUnderAll.swf. It shows up under the movie box in the color I picked.
The movie is 960x540, that is the size I picked when initiating the fla file. So you're saying to make the box taller that 540
to accomodate the player? Let me try that and I'll let you know if it works.
Rob, thank you so much! That did the trick, I knew it had to be something simple. Again many thanks!
