I doubt this is possible, but is there a way to disable the default control in an existing dialogue? There are SDK callbacks available to modify, say, the publish collection settings. Normally this dialogue allows you to change the name of the collection and the Ok/Save button is active.
The SDK hints at changing the default when using an edit_field so Return doesn't just blindly accept the changes instead of inserting a line break in the edit_field. But this is /probably/ for dialogues views you create from scratch, not any of the provided ones you can tweak.
See this post for disabling the default control in Export dialogs:
According to the employee, you can't disable the default control in other dialogs.
See this post for an undocumented method to disable and make invisible the "OK" button in a dialog:
Of course, using an undocumented method entails the risk of not being supported in later versions or of not working as intended.
