I use <mx:WebService> to talk SOAP with my web service.
While it works perfectly with IE, the SOAP request sent from
Firefox (both v1.5 and 2.0) is empty (no SOAP envelop), as a result
I fail to get response from the Web Service.
I don't use Flex Data Services. I compile mxml to .swf,
deploy it as part of ear (which contains both the Web Service
itself and the swf) to the WebSphere and then access the
application html wrapper from the browser. It doesn't seem to be a
security sandbox-related problem, since the domain of the Web
Service URL and the wrapper html URL are the same and moreover this
scenario works perfectly with IE.
