you know there is a problem with the 3dsMax w3d exporter, the vertices are not exactly what you modelled in max, because of geometry compression ( for ex a value like 1 can become 0.9999 or 0.0001 )
i wanna know if we meet the same problem with a w3d file exported from a director executable
As far as i can tell, the w3d export files are totally uncompressed (and huge compared to the original files exported from Lightwave, Max, etc.).
It would be nice if compression options were offered (especially for texture compression), but I doubt that it's going to happen.
the max exporter has compression I cant speak for the others
