Stupid, no. Lazy, maybe. Try taking a look at the at the StackedFormSkin, StackedFormHeadingSkin, and StackFormItemSkin. Here is an example that might help: http://blog.flexexamples.com/2010/08/30/creating-a-stacked-spark-form-container-in-flex-he ro/
I went as far as instlaling Burritto to discover that it works there but not in FB 4 with SDK 2.5.
Besides, being lazy and without willingness to exert lots and lots of BRUTE FORCE, thee is very little that can be done with these half baked and never completed Flex creations.
Maybe if you were a little more specific with what you were trying to accomplish you might have better results finding the answer. From what I am able to decipher from your ramblings, you are having difficulty placing a FormItem's label above the FormItem's content? Is that correct?
Take a look at the first part of my original post.
In Burritto, there are style options on the right hand side, in properties. However, in FB 4, the style drop down is empty, for Form.
Would you like me to draw it for you ;?)
Yes, could you please draw me a diagram. Because as of right now, all I seem to get it that some features of a beta version were not working in Design Mode, and you, the "VirtualCoder", consider using custom skins or working in code to be too daunting to attempt.
