Can I get rid of Resource Forks in JPEGs?

Occasionally I put some JPEGs on an SD card (FAT formatted) which is plugged into my Sony TV. (Mac OS formatted does not work).

If you have ever done it, you will know that you get a slideshow of high quality pictures which is then followed by duplicates of appalling thumbnail type quality.

I believe this is caused because Mac apps produce a Resource Fork on files, which Windows devices see as a duplicate low quality image and therefore play it, to everyone's consternation!

I have used an app called BlueHarvest to strip the Resource Forks a month ago, but it was a demo which has now expired and although it only costs £10, I so rarely make slideshows, it just isn't worth the price for me.

So is there a way of removing them in Photoshop?
