1. I am trying understand what horizontal skew does. Does skew means the object is @ an angle to horizonal plane. When i set to 120 ' as horizontal skew it turns upside down. Is there any good web links to understand how horizontal skew works in flash? I checked in some weblinks but it was not useful.
2. In case if i am using cartoon characters in flash. Where can i create it ? In Illustrator or any other tools can i use? Which is best to use?
Can anyone help me out?
A link that explains transform basics, using the Flash IDE (not ActionScript):
Horizontal skewing transforms the top & bottom of an object to either side. You can skew from -360 to 360 degrees. A horizontal skew of 90 brings the top & bottom of an object together, effectively making it flat. So, if you go beyond this, like 120 degrees, you are now skewing 30 in the other direction.
Just play with a rectnagle in Flash, and manually adjsut the skew of it. You will start to understand quickly what's going on.
