    Overlay an image onto video

Believe it or not, I searched the forum and got nothing.  That means I'm probably using the wrong terminology.  Sorry.

I am a complete newbie to Premiere Pro and my Mac and I need a little help.

I have been given a sports video and I need to highlight one of the kids playing in it.  They don't need to be highlighted for long, maybe just 1-2 seconds.

The method of highlighting doesn't really matter.

      • I could pause the video and have an arrow point them out.
      • I could pause the video and have a circle pop up around them
      • I could pause the video and have a light point on them or anything you can think of.

The problem is I don't know how to do it.

If someone would share clear direction on how to do this or point me towards a solution I would be grateful.  I haven't been able to find any answers because I don't think I am using the right terms for what I am wanting to accomplish.

      Thanks in advance.

FYI-- I am using a Mac and I do have the Master Collection in case it involves using other Adobe products.
