    Styling TextArea

Based on the lessons in the Flex Builder 2, I have built this simple reader that reads my blog:

When you move the mouse around in the text area of a given item, you can detect passages that are links by the change in the cursor, but there is no other indication of anchor styles, even though they are present in the css called by the mxml script.

I would like to have anchor styles, including underline, a different style for hover, etc.

I have tried entering the name of the stylesheet in the stylesheet area of the properties window while the TextArea is selected in design view, but that does not help.

How does one pass styles to the TextArea?

I have seen this earlier thread, which did not seem to reach any conclusion or solution:

      Thanks in advance,

      James
