You might think that there would be a built-in component for this but there isn't.
It is pretty easy to build one however. I have, but don't have a simple sample to post right now. Google this, I bet someone has posted one.
Depending on your styling requirements, you could use a LinkButton, a styled Label, or a Text component using htmlText.
yes I tried that and could find nothing, so that is whhy I posted here.
I found that when searching, but when I tried to use it, I received the message
Could not resolve <Hyperlink> to a component implementation.
And that message is currently beyong my debugging ability
A liitle more info:
I create the Hyperlink_test.mxml as an mxml applcation and the otther two files as actionscript classes.

Both of those files must either reside in the same folder as this file, or must be in
a source-path folder
I had them in a sub folder, but when I moved them to the root folder it worked. Even though I know my package path was correct`?
I do have another question about using this example. When I run the app, I see the following warnings. Should I worry about them?
