    Getting links to show up as traditional links in a textArea component

      Hey all, i have a TextArea that i am trying to get to display <a href> tags properly. This Text Area has s htmlText in it and the links work, its just that they don't display it properly (link, rollover, etc). Trying to use standard css methods does NOT work. I've seen mixed results on the web concenring Flex 2.0.1 and it doesn't look likes as straightforward as I would think it to be.

      Here is my code:
      <mx:Canvas label="Documents" width="100%" height="100%">
      <mx:VBox width="100%" height="100%" paddingTop="10" paddingLeft="10" paddingRight="10" paddingBottom="10" id="documents">
      <mx:Text width="100%" text="Below are any documents that support this KnowledgeBase Article. Please click on the document you want to view." />
      <mx:TextArea
      styleName="LinkTextArea"
      width="100%"
      htmlText="{datagrid1.selectedItem.documentation}"
      height="100%"
      editable="false"/>
      </mx:VBox>
      </mx:Canvas>
      How in the world do i get my html text links to show up with link, hover, etc attributes just like a traditional browser?

      any help would be appreciated,

      erik
