1. Re: missing source code
bregent Jun 13, 2007 7:16 AM (in response to d_pete)You are probably running Norton and have an ad keyword, like 'banner' in the path or title of the image. Norton removes what it thinks are ads from the source. Try renaming the image file or path. -
2. Re: missing source code
Newsgroup_User Jun 13, 2007 7:16 AM (in response to d_pete)I'd strongly suspect that it's Nortons blocking the images for some reason.
Are you using words like banner, ad in the files names? There are a
multitude of reasons why Nortons blocks images - even image size can come
into play.
Try disabling Nortons and see what happens.

3. Re: missing source code
d_pete Jun 13, 2007 7:25 AM (in response to d_pete)So how do I make Norton no remove this ad stop thingy? I do not know how many images I can see online. -
4. Re: missing source code
Newsgroup_User Jun 13, 2007 7:30 AM (in response to d_pete)By disabling Nortons. If a viewer also has Nortons enabled on their
computer, they will also likely not see the images.
Do you have a link to the page - we could probably advise you what may be
being stripped out and give some recommendations.

6. Re: missing source code
Newsgroup_User Jun 13, 2007 7:57 AM (in response to d_pete)In this case, I'd rename the image... it will be blocked by everyone else
that has Nortons blocking turned on ;-)
