Flex Mobile projects do not support mx components by default since they are not optimized for mobile.
You can add them in by adding mx.swc to your build path.
Cool, that helps a lot.
Is there any sort of guide I can use to learn about this stuff? Despite all my experance in logic there is always a bunch of things such as this that you need to know when starting a new SDK.
Actually, I just inculded it and I am getting compiler errors such as:
1120: Access of undefined property ButtonSkin.
Does mx also depend on something else?
Looks like you'll have to use the halo theme as well.
If I'm not mistaken, in FB 4.7b, even this is not an option. I'm a bit at a loss to know how to structure my app without use of one of the most basic/important sdk elements... I know there are alternatives, but VS is just so excellent at what it does (is for). I'm really glad to be switching our target platform from desktop to tablet, but I did not anticipate having this rather large structural block pulled from the underpinning. Ah well. *swan dives into the SDK docs*
