That must be very highly compressed, you will need the best processor you can afford, I personally would not consider anything but a quad core. We have PC Premiere Pro BenchMarks (PPBM5) that you could look at and see where your processor choices would get you iin PCland, and right now the Mac's lag behind the PC's because they do not handle multithreaded code as well. But then I am treading dangerous ground with absolutely zero Mac experience.
After looking at the MacBook Pro, I find it does not offer an nVidia CUDA card and that in my opinion would be absolutely essential in any Adobe Premiere editing system--sorry about that!
