I have tried this code. its working fine. but i need to give page rance in java script...
I got place options. by script how can i give page range?
I have the same problem with placing a page range from the documents I need to place.
Did you (or any one else) ever figure this out?
here are the droids you are looking for:
pageNumber number r/w The page number of the PDF document page to place.
You cannot give a range, but you can use a loop.
That answers the original question about pdf placement so if Divya should mark the question as correct.
Unfortunately I see I wrote my question very unclearly.
I want to know the same thing for placing a range of pages of indesign documents into my indesign document.
I can't find the an equivalent "INDESIGNPlacePreference"
i think it's the same, because a indesign page is placed as a pdf page. try it.
ps. it's Vamitul
Yes I'm sure your right, I didn't remember that they are placed as PDF's.
I want to "place" the pages as actual Indesign pages and not as PDF’s so I guess I'll have to get the script to open the source document[s] and then move the destination document selected pages and then close the source document.
P.s. Sorry Vamitul, I often get called Terror instead of Trevor

if you are not in any hurry, i have a (buggy) script that does something like that, but i don't have access to my script archive until monday at the soonest.
Thanks, I don't think it should take to long to make but I would appreciate the script
