I wonder why should one update from adobe reader version 7 to 8, 9 or 10.
If our company does not use no advanced features like flash or multimedia in pdf.
Most of all it's just fillable forms and a few images.
How to convince that we need an update our software?
pros - faster loading time
cons - additional space required, programs in autorun
And Thank you in advance for your attention!
The ability to highlight within a PDF is one advantage.
Also, being able to work with files others create in one of the newer formats using the newer features.
Other than that, it's hard to say without knowing everything about your company and they way you use Reader and where you get your PDF's...etc.
There are also significant new security enhancements, particularly Protected Mode with Reader 10. Whether this is enough reason to update depends on how secure your user's environment is to start with.
hi - security updates is the big reason to update - if you have recent hardware, I'd recommend using Reader X - no problems with over 100 staff running this on machines 1 to 4 years old on Win7
