    Saving Scores

    Blindgator Level 1
I have a game that I am making and I am wanting to post it on the internet, but I need some help on the scores. I want a player to be able to come save their score and come back the next day and play again. Any suggestions on how to go about that? Also how would i go about making a High Score table?
      Thanks

You can use setPref() and getPref() to save data to the local machine
and restore it to a later session, however:

You will probably need a server-side DB and scripting interface
(PHP/mySQL; ASP/Access; ...) to store persistent "globally" available
data so might as well consider saving everything server-side.

Do you have any examples of how to use this setPref( ) code? Do I have to give it a path to save to or does it just save it as a cookie?

Start by reading the docs, then ask follow-up questions if you have any.
