    Applying tracker info in AF

    Deaner77 Level 1

I have a hand held video clip that I motion tracked. On top of that I have an animation (image sequence). In the motion tracker dialog, I selected position and rotation. Then I applied it to my animation in the x and y position. When I do this, my animated layer gets shifted in my comp window. How can I re-center this and still keep my tracking info?

When I go to the beginning of the animation and change the position numbers to locate it where I want to see it, it only holds that position for one frame. I am missing something very basic I suspect.

Also as a side question...is it possible to output the tracking information and apply it to a layer in PPCS5?

      Thanks

Apply the tracking to a null object, then parent your layer to the null.

Nope.  That's what After Effects is for.
