Detect bitrate of live netStream on client

    Kristian Wright
Is there any way for the NetStream object (or any other object) that plays a live stream from Flash Media Server 2 to detect the bitrate at which it is playing at? I've searched forums and documentation for hours and I can't seem to get anything!

I can get the bitrate from metadata of pre-recorded FLVs, but there is nothing when it comes to live streaming! Is there anyway for the client to calulate their bitrate when playing a live stream? Frames / second is easy as the NetStream contains that property. But the bitrate.... GRRRRRR!

      ANY help appreciated!

      Cheers,
      K.
