Chrome Library: Click on Video to Pause/Play

We are using the Chrome library with our player package, and I've noticed one addition that my UX team has requested that I'm not sure I can provide while leaving the Chrome Library unmodified.

They want to be able click on the video to pause/play toggle the video. However, I'm encountering an issue when I try to add a listener for the mouse click as the entire player & control bar triggers the click including any click on the controlbar or existing buttons.

In the chrome application there is one "container" object, but I can't seem to be able to drill deeper into the container to just place the listener on the video object and not the entire container.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks in advance.
