If you select the effect and the audio clip on your timeline and click Apply, does that apply the effect?
Are you certain that the effect has not been applied? Have you right-clicked on the clip and selected Show Properties?
Finally, where does this audio come from? If it is from a camcorder, what model of camcorder was it? Which settings did you select for this footage when you set up your Premiere Elements project?
Thank you for your answer! I tried again to apply the audio effect on the audio clip. It didn't work, because the button "apply" wasn't activated. When I tried to apply the effect a red warning signal appeard!
The camcorder I use is an Canon Legria HF 200. The settings I select are: AVCHD, HD 1080i!
I'm sorry, Roland. I'm still not clear what you're describing.
What's a red warning signal?
Can do a screen capture of this signal and attach it to your next post to this forum?
Meantime, this camcorder shoots video in several formats. Have you ensured that you only shot video in the FXP or MXP format? And that the AVCHD 1920x1080 projecf settings you selected were for stereo and not 5.1 audio?
