Just a quick question.
I am about to edit a long video recorded in 720p 60 frames. But i'd like to convert all my files into very low quality so i got faster render etc etc.
But when i then finally edited the movie etc, and i want to replace the low quality videos with the HD's - what do i do? How do i do it? I once saw this in a tutorial, but forgot how to do it.
And at last, anything i should be aware of when converting to low quality? Frames? Anything? Thanks!
When you render the low quality video you are going to get low quality video, there will be no replacement.
How ever if you trying to speed up editing process you can change your playback preview resolution to much lower res. That will let you have some speed during edit. But if you want Hi quality you better render Hi quality.
I dont do that but what you need to look for is called Proxy editing.
Search for that and it will tell you the best way.
