Hi, I am developing an app for iOS that require to use mask or scrollRect for some effects. But it seems that mask and scrollRect both use CPU to redraw the display object even I set cacheAsBitmap to true. Is there any way to force flash use GPU for this ? Or is there any alternatives to create mask effects ?
From what I have seen in Air 2.6, masks are supported in hardware.
I just had several large bitmaps all rotating within a mask with an add blend mode effect over the top - all running at a steady 60fps.
