jkosmicki Mar 30, 2011 7:54 AM (in response to zm15)Avid DNxHD is better quality then ProRes, about the same size/compression rate and is free to use. CineForm is better quality than either, works in both AVI and MOV, smaller size, but is not free. CineForm has HDLink which is an easy way to batch convert the footage. We have one bay that we'll be using Premiere Pro CS5 on a Mac, will the Avid DNxHD codec work on mac as well?
