I'm using the s:Move component to manipulte a label's position with yTo:
<s:Move id="labelIn" yTo="211"/>
Then I call
This properly animates my label. The problem happens when I change the labels text before playing the animation. For example:
myLabel.text = "New Text!"; labelIn.play([myLabel]);
This causes the label to shake from left to right while animating. The shaking is eliminated by removing the
parameter from my label, but the label is no longer centered.
Is there a way to animate my label without the shaking?
I resolved the problem by setting the label's width to 100%, then centering the text it contained. By doing this, the horizontal position of the label never needs to be changed.
I would still like to know if it is possible using a non-100% width combined with horizontalCenter="0" and a vertical animation without getting the side-to-side shifting of text.
I believe this can be resolved using:
On the Spark Move Effect. Will try this tomorrow and hopefully close this thread [=
