    Net Stream (URL)

      I am working on a project which requires to load videos. For this I have used the following code :

      var nc1:NetConnection = new NetConnection();
      nc1.connect(null);
      var ns1:NetStream = new NetStream(nc1);
      videoPlayer1.attachVideo(ns1);
      ns1.play("4.flv");

      I want to play a file which is located in a folder in some other directory (for example in "My documents/User/xyz.flv")

      My question is, how to load that file.

      Your help is much appreciated.

      Thanks

          You need to either use an absolute path (C:\...etc) to target the file or a relative path which you need to determine based on where the swf file is being played from.  If the flv is being played in an html page, then the relative path needs to be based on the location of the html file.  If you cannot fgure out the relative path, then just try using the absolute.

          You might find it easiest to just move the flv files to a more convenient relative location.
