Hello, I recently calibrated my monitor.  I have a Cinema HD monitor.  I followed the instructions in the Preferences/Monitor/Calibrate screen.  The Calibration that I did made the screen darker and more saturated than the factory calibration supplied by Apple.

Should I use my calibration or the factory calibration?   I have had this monitor for 2 and 1/2 years.

I will also post this is the Premiere Pro CS4 forum.

      Thank You

I presume you mean an Apple Cinema Display.  I've always found the Apple monitor calibration tool a bit flaky.

The only REAL monitor solution is a professional broadcast monitor.  But a hardware calibration tool like a Spyder is a pretty good tool for getting the best out of your monitor.

Be aware that, at over 2 years old, any LCD monitor will begin to change colour with age, usually tending towards yellow.
