How did you use that in post?
-material from multi camera shoots with different cameras, TC was coming from either the sound department, the "A" camera or an offboard TC generator. It worked pretty well.
Today of course this would be very useful when people use an HDSLR as a "B" camera, in theory TC could even be distributed wirelessly to several HDSLRs and a discrete channel of a double system audio recorder.
I dont understand quite how that works or the purpose of it.
Premiere can read Timecode in an audio track.
but...I am not sure how that helps ...because I dont believe that HDSLRS can record TC.
How do you access (input TC to) the audio tracks of an HDSLR from any device that generates TC
You can run it right into an audio input, we aren't talking about metadata. It was a work-around technique for synching cameras that you can't TC crunch.
