Can you give us more info or examples on how you want it to work?
well ,I've scrapped this idea but have ran into another one.
I have an accordion menu with five levels. Most of us would know to select
the next accordion level to open that view but I'm sure there will be many
that won't know how to move on to the next level, so I would like to add a
<mx:ButtonLink> to the bottom of each accordion section. It displays the
text "Next" and I want it to open the next accordion panel just as it would
if they select the next accordion bar.
That where I'm at right now. Do you understand what I mean?? Any idea how
to accomplish that??

Give the ButtonLink a 'click' handler that increments the selectedIndex of the Accordion.
Thank you. That worked
<mx:LinkButton x="339" y="40" label="LinkButton"
private function AccordionFocusHandler(event:String):void
if (event == 'next')
