I've tried this but the ESTK gives me an error - "file or folder does not exist"
Is there a specific folder where I need to place my include files?

It's working for me here.
Make sure that both files are saved.
You can't include file in not saved script because it doesn't have path yet.
The #include directive uses relative path from the including file —assumed you don't set an absolute path.
needs "myFile.jsx" exist in the 'includer' script folder.
Depending on myFile.jsx relative location you can also use syntax like:
Thanks Bob. This is helpful for getting oriented.
Learning to sort out how to work with the ESTK.
I've posted an inquiry about a different topic on the InDesign Scripting & SDK forums, but have not gotten a reply.
I thought I'd ping you to see if you nkow anything. When I installed Creative Suite 4, InDesign 6.0 installed a COM typelib for Visual Basic.
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\InDesign\Version 6.0\en_US\Scripting Support\6.0\Resources for Visual Basic.tlb
I am able to reference this from VB.NET Visual Studio 2010 and program against the InDesign scritping API like a charm - with full IntelliSense.
With Creative Suite 5 InDesign 7.0 I am unable to establish this reference from Visual Studio.Visual Studio can't find the reference.
Have to apologize. I've never used VB for anything! Clueless here. I'm sure someone out there can answer it.
