AIR on Android with restricted browseForOpen

I developed an AIR-Application 2.6 for Android (tested on Samsung Galaxy Tab).

If i want to load a file from the local file system i have only access to image, video and audio files but i

      want to load an xml-File.

The Documention says only the custom title is not displayed on Android.

Just try new File().browseForOpen() and you will get an restricted access to the local file system. If you initialize the browseForOpen

with a specified file extension like xml you will see that are no files are found or selectable.

Is there any way or workaround to get access on all data independet of the file extension and folder?
