1. Re: Does After Effects CS5 Tethered Capture from Nikon D90 movie mode
Rick Gerard Apr 7, 2011 6:13 AM (in response to l1o1t1r1)AE uses Premiere Pro to capture video. If you have the right adaptors, capture card or compatible camera and Premiere Pro installed you can capture from the Import menu item in AE. The only difference in the workflow is that you don't have to import the captured video. OTT, It's exactly like opening up Premiere Pro and doint eht capture there.

l1o1t1r1 Apr 7, 2011 6:31 AM (in response to l1o1t1r1)Rick thank you.
I posted here as on the premiere board I was told it would not capture from the movie mode of the Nikon D90. And was wondering if ae had a work around.

l1o1t1r1 Apr 7, 2011 7:14 AM (in response to l1o1t1r1)ok I got hold of Nikon
(though they said use their Camera Controler Pro 2) is that I do not set D90 to movie mode but set it to live mode. So I guess Premiere or your tip for ae works but I have to set D90 to live mode. Newbie dumb qusetion.
